Every night before I go to bed, I brainstorm random art ideas, thoughts from throughout the day, stuff like that.
But yesterday, I actually thought of a really, really good point, and typed it out.
Here it is.

"I wish my art was as good as yours"
"God this is great, I cant even draw a stick figure!"
"My art is terrible compared to this!"
"This was an awesome idea, I never could've thought of that."

Every artist has heard it. Over, and over again.
And we usually respond the same way by trying to reassure them, but gently brush them off at the same time.

But you know how we should respond?

"If you truly wished to be as good as, or better, then me as an artist, then go for it. But if dont want it bad enough to work for it, and practice, and try, then you dont actually wish that. You can do it, if you really want to."
"If thats what you believe, then that's all your gonna be able to draw. You can only draw what you believe you can draw, and if you believe that all you can draw is a stick figure, then your never going to be able to do more then that. Just try, believe you can, and you can."
"Your wrong, very wrong. Your art is beautiful, because you made it. And if you arent happy with it, then practice, study, and try your best until you do like it. Because if you dont, you'll keep drawing the same way, and keep being unhappy. Make yourself happy with it, dont just sit there and expect your skills to magically get better."
"You most definitely could have. Every human being is physically of making amazing stuff, it just depends on whether or not they decide to or not. If you want, you can totally think of amazing ideas, just like me, and just like all artists."

In short?
Everyone CAN draw, it just depends if you CARE enough to actually work for it.
Dont say you wish you could draw like someone, or that you can only draw one thing, or that you cant. Because you know what? If you truly wanted to, you'd go fricking do it.
Being a good artist doesnt just HAPPEN.
You have to STUDY anatomy, you have to PRACTICE, and you have to TRY.

Think of SPT before you reply to, or comment, something about wanting to be a better artist.

When I reread it this morning, it really hit home. Cause I've seen too many of those comments since I started drawing a couple years ago.
Who knew I was so dang inspirational at 4am? I should write down my thoughts more.

Anyway, yep!
I really hope you guys take it to heart, and think on it.
Bye for now, guys!

Their too bust thinking they cant, to try.
I studied anatomy for so long, and I still have to look up some references sometimes.
But that's okay, because no matter if your considered a master, a beginner, or anything in between, there is always gonna be something you cant draw.
But ya gotta try!

I probably need to get my eyes checked again since it's been a while and I squint, but I am not gonna let that stop me from drawing, because I love drawing.
It's my favorite hobby, and it feels amazing to have people who appreciate it, and enjoy, like I do.
If I go blind, I dont care, I'll fricking find a way to draw.

Also, It's really nice to see your still around here, Kirine. I havent really talked to anyone from Ovipets in a while.

Yeah. The more you spend putting yourself down...the less time you have to do art.

I moved and i haven't been on myself.

Oh, that's good! I've mostly just not been checking it, I guess. Kinda forgot about it thanks to family issues.
